For me, the fantasy genre would be my first choice, and you did get it right, your world and its lore mesh perfectly. What does annoy me is some people's attitude to fantasy; instead of seeing the breadth and scope, they see childishness and poor literacy. I recently undertook an OU course on fiction writing to try and firm up my skills and part was a peer-reviewed section where you submitted the start of a novel; three people refused to review my offering on the grounds that is was fantasy and not real creative writing! Fortunately the two who did review my piece gave me some excellent ego stroking, so all was not lost. Keep doing what you're doing, your characters are beautifully rounded and drive the plot well. And now I must away, my dog requires me to open the back door. They're the true master race, you know, not humans, although dogkind allows us the illusion of mastery.Ludditehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13230048651570070948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5616597435302150124.post-57085054672874622152015-02-20T13:53:54.563+00:002015-02-20T13:53:54.563+00:00Thank youThank youAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03029069124028138998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5616597435302150124.post-9583424370135935112015-02-20T13:51:37.967+00:002015-02-20T13:51:37.967+00:00I really admire Fantasy writers, I am sure it is a...I really admire Fantasy writers, I am sure it is a far more difficult thing to write, I love fantasy and Sci Fi movies and always imagine how the writers must feel so elated with the worlds born in their minds eyes being brought to life for all to see. I enjoyed your post.M.C.V.
